In Russia, one of the highest indicators of digitalization of the public sector and the availability of electronic services for the population. Many GIS have been implemented in the country, and serious funding is allocated for their support and development. The public sector is one of the growth points of the Russian IT industry: departments and state corporations remain key customers of various IT systems and services despite sanctions and budget cuts. The leader in the rating of the largest IT suppliers in the Russian public sector in 2022 was the ICL group of companies. Its revenue in this segment reached 17.3 billion rubles. The second line of the rating is at BFT-Holding with revenue of 10.6 billion rubles. Priorities, Objectives and Achievements

Municipal and regional authorities are in a common vertical, so they implement the same programs as federal ones. At the level of each subject, a digitalization program was adopted, the key task of which is to integrate into the federal information structure, organize a similar information processing system and protocols of interaction between departments and entities.

According to the results of the first half of 2023, business and public sector spending on import substitution in the field of software reached 53% of total IT investments. For comparison: a year earlier, this figure was 45%. In the public sector, import substitution is faster than in the corporate market. However, the transition to Russian solutions is hindered by long project implementation periods. Against the background of growing demand for domestic software, it can take up to a year to fulfill orders in some cases. IT in the public sector (May 30, 2023)

On May 30, the annual TAdviser SummIT 2023 was successfully held in Moscow. Digital regions and departments are being created and actively developing right before our eyes.   • Regional Management Centers (SDGs) have been created in all regions of the country for online interaction between citizens and officials.

  • The unified data network combines the needs of departments in telecommunications infrastructure when providing public services, reduces the cost of providing services and increases the volume of their provision without increasing the cost (more).

  • EGAIS - Unified state automated information system for accounting for the volume of production and turnover of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products. The system is designed to carry out state control over the alcohol market in the Russian Federation (more).

  • Uniform State Health Information System is a national information system created to provide effective information support to bodies and organizations of the health care system, as well as citizens within the framework of the processes of managing medical care and its direct receipt (more).

  • GIS TEK is designed to collect, store and process information on the state of the country's fuel and energy complex and consists of industry and integration segments.
