In Tele2 SAP Ariba is implemented

On June 17, 2016 SAP CIS together with alternative mobile operator Tele2 signed the memorandum of strategic partnership within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PIEF-2016). Cooperation of the companies provides implementation in Tele2 of a special system on SAP Ariba purchase management.

The document was signed by the CEO of SAP CIS Pavel Gontarev and the CEO of Tele2 Sergey Emdin. By means of the SAP solution Ariba the operator is going to automate the purchasing activity and to optimize business processes.

Basic reason of the choice of SAP Ariba — sales opportunity of all cycle of purchases from emergence of requirement before obtaining primary documents and the organization of payment. Among the selected solutions: Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contract Mgmt, AribaProcure-2-Pay (P2P), Ariba Document Automation. By means of SAP solutions the operator will be able to automate planning processes, preparation and holding any procurement procedures. A system will provide submission of requests by suppliers in electronic form, will accelerate assessment of their offers, approval and the choice of the winner. This process will be completely integrated from SAP ERP which is earlier implemented in Tele2 and the accounting systems of suppliers through AribaNetwork business network.

Besides, using Ariba Tele2 will perform support of all process of signing of the contracts, including their storage, a template library, approval of documents of the supplier and also creation of the agreement on the basis of the proposal of the winner.

SAP will provide process automation of creation and processing of purchasing requests, unification and control of purchase according to directories of suppliers, vendor interaction by means of a personal account of the supplier by orders, shipments, invoices, vendor interactions on exchange, confirmation of documents: orders, invoices, delivery notes and other documents.
