2016: The pharmaceuticals produced in Moscow will provide to requirement more than 15% of the Russian HIV-positive patients
The Serdiks company can expect considerable privileges from Governments of Moscow later obtaining the status of an industrial complex. The city is also ready to give full support to the project on release of the innovation farpreparat for HIV-positive people. The Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Government of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Natalya Sergunina and the management of the companies "GlaxoSmithKline", "ViiV Healthcare" and "Serdiks" agreed about it on the platform of the XX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum at the beginning of 2016.
According to plans of agreement parties, based on pharmaceutical industrial complex "Serdiks" (division of the international company "Servye") in the territory of Nova Moskvy the modern hi-tech line of production of the innovation medicine of ViiV Healthcare company (the participant of pharmaceutical holding GlaxoSmithKline) for treatment of HIV infection will be started. It will be production of a full stroke thanks to what the cost of medicine will not depend on a macroeconomic situation. The line will be started in September of the current year, at the same time commercial production of medicine will begin at the end of 2017. After reaching of new production design capacity it will provide more than 15% of the Russian HIV-positive patients with modern available therapy.
As Natalya Sergunina noted, support of the city can significantly increase opportunities for development of production base of this socially important complex. According to her, "the Serdiks company already submitted the application for obtaining the status of an industrial complex, and we will consider it in the nearest future. This status will allow to reduce loading on regional taxes to 17%. The company will be able to aim these considerable funds at the development. Providing the status of an industrial complex or other specialized territory, the city eventually wins much more – it receives the successful innovation enterprises making hi-tech goods necessary for Muscovites".
In addition to the investments within the project connected with a transfer and localization in the territory of Moscow of high technologies, the Serdiks plant implements other programs of development. In particular, in 2016 the enterprise will invest about 50 million rubles in the equipment for production of gelatin capsules. Also programs for expansion of a portfolio of the medicines produced in the city, production for the markets of the Eurasian Union, etc. are supported.
