Magadan universal scientific library of A.S. Pushkin (TEZIS)

The document management system and tasks of TEZIS is implemented in the Magadan regional scientific universal library of A.S. Pushkin.

The Magadan universal scientific library of A.S. Pushkin has the status of the central regional library. The general book fund of library makes about 3 million copies which 115 thousand readers use. In organization 124 employees, including library - 85 work.

The library differs in the high level of informatization: in the automated mode account and processing of literature, help and bibliographic service, exchange of electronic information with libraries of Russia and foreign countries are kept, directories and card files are created. Since 1999 at library the center of legal information equipped with the corresponding help software, and since 2001 - the Internet class works.

In September, 2015 the library decided to expand the IT infrastructure at the expense of document flow system implementation. From systems presented at the market at once it was selected EDMS THESIS. Preference was given to Standard edition of the system giving opportunities for gradual expansion of opportunities of EDMS.

System implementation was carried successfully out by efforts of department of VNIT of library. Since 2016 a system steadily is in commercial operation.

EDMS THESIS is not for the first time used by libraries. In 2012 ITCS GROUP LLP, the certified partner Haulmont in Kazakhstan, carried out system implementation in National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the largest state book-depository of the republic.
