"The information and technology center of the Voronezh region" completed preparation of Organization of Information Security of state institutions of area

On June 16, 2016 the Aladdin R.D. company and the Information and technical center of the Voronezh region announced the beginning of the complex project on Organization of Information Security of the state information systems of the Voronezh region^[1].

"The information and technical center of the Voronezh region" for the purpose of ensuring compliance of the state information systems of the Voronezh region to requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation carried out the analysis of the solutions existing in the market which application will meet all stated requirements.

On the basis of the carried-out analysis a choice is made for benefit of products and solutions of Aladdin R.D. company.

As information security tools JaCarta PKI USB tokens intended for two-factor authentication of users at access to the protected information resources, safe storage of keys and key containers of program CIPFs are selected.

For centralized operation key carriers select the JaCarta Management System (JMS) system. JMS provides observance of requirements of the Russian legislation regarding accounting of a CIPF. The main effect from implementation of JMS is reducing costs for maintenance of infrastructure of authentication and the EDS and also increased security due to use of advanced technologies in the field of IT security.

Also complex cybersecurity infrastructure on the basis of solutions of Aladdin R.D. assumes application of the JaCarta SecurLogon software product which allows to perform simple and fast transition from normal passwords to two-factor authentication at an input in OS and access to network resources on JaCarta token. JaCarta SecurLogon will prepare the organization for soft junction on PKI infrastructure using certificates, will solve a problem of "weak" passwords of users and regularity of their change on computers of employees and will raise the security level thanks to implementation of mechanisms of two-factor authentication.
