A system for counteraction to application fraud National Hunter allows to reduce losses of credit institutions from swindlers. E a loan National Hunter at assessment will use systems capabilities online of requests for loans from new clients.
The principle of work of National Hunter service is based on transfer of credit requests in Bureau where statements are processed on the Hunter platform. The arrived statements are compared to the historical data loaded by other participants of service (more than 40 largest banks and IFI) therefore discrepancies in data or coincidence to the known cases of fraud come to light. Since the beginning of 2016 a system recorded more than 185 thousand attempts of fraud.
Use of systems capabilities National Hunter within automation of processing of the entering online requests for loans allows not only to make quicker the decision, in comparison with "manual verification", but also directly influences improvement of quality of all loan portfolio of financial institution.
"During the periods of economic instability the activity of swindlers always increases. Given our system "National Hunter" demonstrate that for last year the share of suspicious requests in a segment of IFI grew twice. If in April, 2015 it made 1.6% of the total number of applications for loans, then in April, 2016 already 3.3% – Nikolay Myasnikov, the deputy CEO of experimental design bureau says. – In the current situation microfinance institutions need to approach most carefully check of borrowers for preserving of quality of a portfolio".
