Perpetuum MobiDB

MobiDB is DBMS for devices on the Android platform.

The product helps to create any databases, as in the personal, and professional purposes, including full-fledged client DB for business.

2016: MobiDB release

On June 22, 2016 the Perpetuum Software company announced release of release of MobiDB DBMS — the professional application for creation of relational databases for Android and Windows 10^[1].

The upgraded solution offers an opportunity to synchronization of data by means of OneDrive, sorting and data filtering in the table on several columns, work under one account on both platforms.

In MobiDB the opportunity for work in the application on all supported platforms under one registered account is implemented. Users get access to two applications at once: for Android and Windows 10. For this purpose it is required to synchronize databases and to continue to work.

Working according to directives of Google and Microsoft for the user interface of applications, the company changed an application interface regarding navigation and quick access to the most demanded functions. Now users can quickly pass from one table to another even if it is in other database. According to developers, it saves time and simplifies work with data.

The user has a possibility of the choice of the cloud storage by means of which MobiDB work on them — OneDrive or DropBox will execute synchronization of data and joint.

In the current version of the database work with data in tables is optimized. In particular, users can filter and sort data on several columns - more opportunities at data processing. Also there are methods to save the configured filters and to use them in further work.

Availability

For June 22, 2016 the version of MobiDB is available in app stores Windows Store and Google Play.

2014

On July 1, 2014 the Perpetuum Software company announced release of the application for creation, storage and management of databases of MobiDB.

MobiDB is offered by the visual editor for creation of databases with any structure and a set of fields.

The task of 14 types of fields is possible:

• line,
• email,
• address,
• flag buttons,
• text,
• integer and fractional numbers,
• date,
• time,
• link,
• phone number,
• photo,
• rating,
• currency
• calculated field.

In the application there are 19 edited templates:

• "Employees",
• "Expenses",
• "Orders",
• "Purchases",
• "Salary",
• "Software",
• Tasks,
• "Maintenance".

Each template consists of a set of fields, this set, as well as names of fields, it is possible to edit.

Data entry in base is executed manually or by means of scanning of barcodes. The user can filter and sort records in a DB by any field.

The environment of permanent storage of the user databases created in MobiDB - an internal memory or the SD card of the device, it defines availability of information at any time and in any place, irrespective of existence of connection to the Internet.

The database can be exported to the CSV format.

The application is offered in two versions: free and paid.
