Zio

The Zio technology from RGB Spectrum provides distribution video and audio-signals on IP network, replacing with that traditional switches. Devices of the Zio series are connected to 1 GB to the Ethernet switch, accepting and coding signals from computer and video sources with the resolution up to 4K and decoding them for demonstration on displays. The Zio systems provide bespodryvny signal switching using for their transfer IP infrastructure. ZIO can work both in selected, and in the general network.

IP infrastructure is suitable for transfer of large volumes of information. At the same time, the network architecture with dispersal of sources, characteristic of it, and consumers of video signal occasionally creates difficulties for transfer of the sensitive to delays and arranged in time video flows. The technologies of signal transmission used in Zio and unique peer-to-peer (point-to-point) architecture a system solve these problems, providing to the user exclusive opportunities of performance control of a system. Besides, the platform of distributed control allows to avoid an expensive server architecture and such vulnerabilities as "a uniform point of failure".
