When implementing this strategy everything is tied at high-quality work with clients. In this case WMS acts as the contractor in a strategy implementation chain.
For example, several sales channels work for you, at the same time the first channel goes for replenishment of shop and pickup locations, and the second on delivery platforms where they get client delivery. Delivery platforms are terminals of the logistic companies where there is a sorting of goods and delivery to the client. In case the client does the order of on-line and off-line of shop, to it two different sendings, but not one sending will come with the integrated order.
For me the ideal situation when implementing Omni-channel of strategy is represented as follows – the client does the order in online store and then in off-line shop, the accounting system (ERP system) at the same time creates the uniform order (sending) for a WMS system. For RTs – it will be set of orders which prepare for uniform delivery and 1 order for 1 client is received.
In Ukraine there is a platform Olx.ua on which the client can make orders of different suppliers. If to receive symbiosis of Olx.ua and NovaPoshta where at the order the client of goods from different suppliers, all orders meet on one platform, i.e. purchase, check on quality, sorting - everything is performed on behalf of NovaPoshta, then this ideal situation in Omnichannel will turn out. This solution is presented to me by the best and beautiful.
As for ColumbusWMS – this solution which completely suits us also its functionality enough for satisfaction of all our needs.
