On June 27, 2016 it became known of the beginning of the project of optimization of warehouse logistics in BARS group. The partner in the project Logikon company.
Project Tasks
The customer defined the purpose - optimization of warehouse logistics on the platform WMS- systems Infor SCE 10 in the distribution center of the CU "Leopard".
The main objectives within terms of reference of the project:
- increase in turnover of goods in a warehouse,
- increase in utilization coefficient of warehouse space,
- decrease in time for shipment of goods to end customers,
- reduction of time for waiting of loading of motor transport,
- increase in quality of service of service of shops of own network,
- start of rendering 3pl-services to third-party clients with the organization of complete transparency of warehouse processes,
- reduction of need for warehouse personnel,
- increase in accuracy of data in a warehouse, decrease in influence of a human factor due to management of work of a warehouse complex using the automation system of warehouse logistics,
- the organization of piece work of employees (calculation of runtime of different transactions by employees in a warehouse).
