On June 27, 2016 more than hundred embassies and consulates of Sweden worldwide in the single protected network became known of the project of consolidation. The partner in the project Orange Business Services company.
Project Tasks
Orange Business Services signed the contract for providing network services to 100 embassies and consulates of Sweden worldwide. The government of Sweden - the client of Orange Business Services since 2001, and this contract - development of the prisoner in 2013.
Duration of the contract is 4 years. During this period of Orange Business Services will provide the Swedish representative offices abroad with network services for a safe and reliable communication. Among the provided services: services of a corporate virtual private network are VPN, satellite communication, an Ethernet network and access to the Internet regardless of location of embassies and consulates, including the hardly accessible cities and the countries with badly developed infrastructure.
The bases for signing of the contract, according to the statement of the press service of the contractor:
- the Orange network meets requirements of the customer to security and capacity;
- expansion of the contract for cooperation shows examination of Orange in work with public sector.
