On September 27, 2017 the Toshiba company began sales in Russia of a line of the multifunction copiers of the e-STUDIO5008LP A3 format created on a hybrid technology and combining opportunities of both normal black-and-white printing, and printing the special erased toner.
As a part of a line three models: e-STUDIO3508/4508/5008 with a speed of printing/copying of 35, 45 and 50 p./min. respectively, when using a normal black toner. 35 p./min. - for all models when using of the erased blue toner[1].
For effective use means of preset tuning and automatic switching to this or that operation mode depending on applications with which employees work are provided in devices.
By means of the optional external erasing e-STUDIO RD301 block it is possible to decolour prints, previously to scan them, sending the digitized images to workflow systems or to storage.
The e-STUDIO5008LP family is characterized by the speed of digitization of materials up to 120 pages / 240 images per minute in a configuration with the double-sided single-pass automatic feeder. Cloud and mobile printing / scanning, the high level of information protection are supported.

Integration of technologies of ABBYY into the MFP
On June 27, 2016 the Toshiba Tec corporation announced integration of sensing technologies of texts of ABBYY into the Toshiba e-STUDIO MFP series.
By means of this upgrade of the MFP can automatically transform documents in different languages to the PDF format with a text layer, read out barkoda: barcodes and QR codes on documents.
The built-in tools of ABBYY FineReader Engine developer use intellectual algorithms for conversion of the scanned documents and images to the format available to search of the text, at the same time the original model and formatting of the initial document remains.
