Documents from collection of the museums of the Moscow Kremlin are digitized

To summer of 2016 ELAR Corporation transferred to an electronic form more than hundred architectural drawings from collection of the museums of the Moscow Kremlin. In the digitized type drawings of the Arkhangelsk, Uspensky and Blagoveshchensk cathedrals will be used for research and in publishing projects of museum institution.

"We work on directories of paintings of the Kremlin cathedrals, - the research associate of the Museums of the Moscow Kremlin Yulia Buzykina tells. - Drawings of 1950-1970 contain valuable information – plottings of murals. Researchers will be able to work with digital copies of drawings that, of course, will positively affect safety of originals".

Specialists of ELAR characterize the scanned array as difficult. "It is quite old documents, - the project manager Yulia Tsareva says, - many of them a format more A0. Separate drawings were sewed, and before scanning we embroidered them, and after digitization brought to an initial state". Documents from collection of the museums of the Moscow Kremlin are transferred to an electronic form on a complex of high-quality scanning of ELAR Pauerskan A0 which provides polygraphic quality of images.
