In 2016 the Rigla pharmacy chain implemented three hi-tech IT projects allowing to make activity of the company more effective and is more transparent and also to increase controllability of network which consists of 1705 points and covers 45 regions of Russia.
Rigla is hi-tech business: the pharmacy chain of the first of a pharmroznitsa implemented and implements the most advanced solutions - robotic drugstore, e-commerce, the innovation drugstore with cosmetology services, etc.
In April, 2016 all drugstores of Rigla network passed to the automated control system for supply Symphony which allows to predict sales on all range in each drugstore of network, to avoid items out of stock and at the same time to leave the minimum trade inventory. As a result of system implementation the trade inventory which is under control of a system decreased by 5%, goods availability for the client on shelves increased. A system already confirmed the efficiency in three formats of drugstores of network – Rigla, Zhivika, "Be Healthy!".
In 2016 AS of Rigl together with the IT partner of Navicon completed system implementation of budgeting and the reporting in drugstores of Rigl, Zhivik, "Be healthy!". Two IT platforms – IBM Cognos and Microsoft Dynamics NAV became the base of a system. A system is adapted strictly for model of business of Rigla that allowed to increase the accuracy of planning processes, consolidations and processings of data.
Implementation of the analytical instrument of efficiency analysis when opening new outlets became the main know-how in IT technologies of Rigla. In a pharmroznitsa of Rigl - the first company which uses a similar system.
When opening a new point a huge number of factors is considered: a location, quantity of steps which conducts to drugstore, transport availability, the population, passability, attraction points.
To system implementation the decision was made on the basis of complex assessment of the place the expert. As tasks of development in the company mass and global (opening up to 500 drugstores a year), process of the analysis it was decided to automate and enter the scientific tool. A system allows to collect several cells of factors, criteria of their assessment and the point will allow to construct the forecast what the point what format is optimal for it will have passability and what revenue. Tens of sources of information are analyzed, "picture" of business is visible from all directions. A system helps to estimate what risks and problems exist what rent will be reasonable for future project. Besides, the system "trained": all information is archived, the quantity of factors for the analysis constantly increases, also forecast accuracy respectively grows. Based on carried out by an analysis system the specialist of network makes the decision.
The Navicon system integrator completed at the beginning of 2016 the large-scale complex project on process automation of budgeting and formation of a packet of the reporting in Rigla company. In one of the largest pharmacy chains of the country are unrolled the system of consolidation and transformation of financial statements according to the IFRS standards based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and a budgeting system and managerial the plan fact of the reporting on the IBM Cognos platform.
Originally the management of Rigla network planned budgeting system implementation, but already at a stage of preliminary discussion of the project a number of the tasks connected with need of preparation of a packet of the procedural reporting under the IFRS standards was revealed. The decision on creation of an end-to-end information system which would provide automation of process of budgeting, consolidation and transformation of actual data for formation of the summary reporting under IFRS, integration of this reporting with a planning and budgeting system for creation managerial the plan fact of the reporting and visualization of reports for needs of operational management was made.
"The federal network of drugstores of Rigl operates with huge information volumes that caused increased requirements to performance of information systems, - Vladimir Sharov, the managing partner of Navicon comments. - Implementation of the solution on the basis of at once two platforms also became a serious problem: the considerable part of time was found for issues of integration. The project demanded competences not only of several complex systems at the same time - 1C, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and IBM Cognos BI, but also in thin setup of systems for work with each other within business processes of Rigla".
For project implementation the uniform working group which was engaged in the analysis of business processes of Rigla network and design of architecture of the created systems was created. 10 specialists of Navicon company took part in the project. From the customer heads of departments and key users, in total 12 specialists were involved in work on the project.
As a system for accounting the Rigla company uses 1C. At the same time account is kept in geographically distributed branches of the company. For the solution of a problem of consolidation of the geographically distributed fact of transactions, collecting of the management reporting and the reporting under IFRS the solution Navicon IFRS on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform was selected. The solution performs consolidation of data, automation of calculation of adjustments of IFRS and management accounting, implementation of sverochny reports and formation of the formatted unloading of the complete reporting under group of the set format. The fact of transactions prepared based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a source for the plan-fact analysis in IBM Cognos BI.
Thanks to Navicon IFRS implementation the network of drugstores of Rigl managed to increase quality of training of financial statements, having minimized a human factor and also implementations of sverochny procedures and internal mechanisms of quality control of data. Thanks to step-by-step consolidation and connection with primary wiring of accounting possibilities of audit of data raised.
When implementing budget model for network of drugstores of Rigl the full stroke of budgeting, including sales planning, operating expenses of divisions, a financial income and expenses and also investment planning regarding opening of new drugstores with automatic consolidation of the reporting financial budgets given in formats was automated. In the module IBM Cognos BI more than 50 reports which can be grouped in three types were implemented: reports on the basis of budget data, regulated reports (BDR, BDDS, Balance and the Investment budget) and a packet managerial the plan fact of the reporting in the form of the presentations.
