Hellmann Worldwide Logistics (EME WMS)

At the beginning of September, 2012 automation of the new platform of the German logistic company 'to base of the warehouse management system EME.WMS 3.5 ended with Mr. Kalugen's Hellmann'v. This new warehouse services the largest European equipment supplier for farms of Delaval company.

In a warehouse rack storage in the covered heated premises of 2500 sq.m and storage of bulky goods (the equipment and the motor transport) on the open area of 2500 sq.m is organized. The warehouse works in the mode of one-stage cross docking. At acceptance of a load in EME.WMS information on a contract number for which the load came is fixed; date of arrival; number of a package and quantity of packages in the contract. Also for further convenience information on type and the number of the vehicles which delivered a freight and distribution of packages in the vehicle is fixed. During shipment of the contract, the EME.WMS system offers type selection and the number of vehicles for packages. If necessary the operator can change type and the number of vehicles for shipment to the discretion. This functionality helps transport logisticians with distribution of packages and optimal use of transport.

For work on the project Intermec CK3 data collection terminals with a 2D imidzhskaner allowing to read out both linear, and two-dimensional barcodes are used. For printing of labels the printer of labels of the Taiwan firm TTP-2410M which well proved in work is used.

A system was customized in the mildest terms (3 weeks) for projects of similar complexity. The project startup did not demand departure of specialists on the platform of the customer. All actions were carried out far off.
