About the Customer
Euroservice is a supplier of hospital medicines and modern medical equipment. The company was founded in 1996, and is currently represented in almost all regions of the Russian Federation. Euroservice occupies a leading position in the ratings of interregional pharmaceutical distribution companies in Russia. Clients of the company are more than 2000 medical and preventive institutions and wholesale organizations of Russia. In addition, the company is developing a retail direction - by 2008. two pharmacy points were opened in Moscow and one in Rostov.
Project Objectives
Euroservice is continuously developing: the geography of the business is expanding, the staff of sales representatives, employees, buyers and suppliers is growing. To consolidate the market position and acquire new competitive advantages in 2003, the company's management decides to implement a corporate information system that will ensure the company's uninterrupted, stable operation, automate new business processes and unite the main office, all branches and subsidiaries into a single whole.
The information system installed at Euroservice at that time, morally and technologically outdated, became the "bottleneck" of the business. Its support and operation became a futile direction and caused many problems. Constant failures and downtime negatively affected the company.
Euroservice specialists studied all the main ERP systems presented in the Russian IT market. The decision was made in favor of the AVARDA ERP system. One of the main advantages of the selected product was the high availability of basic functionality. Other important features of the chosen solution were performance margin and scalability, ease of use, cost of ownership, which can reduce the IT budget, as well as the ability to independently develop the system.
Project Progress
Work on the project for the implementation of the AVARDA ERP system began in June 2003, and lasted a year and a half. The final commissioning of AVARDA took place in January 2005.
First of all, the activities of the central office and warehouse were automated, then the AVARDA system was replicated in all branches of Euroservice.
Implementation of AVARDA ERP system implementation project took place in several stages:

- Harmonization of business processes and business logic of the system
- Refinement of algorithms and reports
- Development of automatic data transfer system
- Development and harmonization of user rights
- User training
- Trial run
- Data transfer and commissioning
In the process of adapting the AVARDA ERP system to the requirements of the Customer's business, some printed forms of documents (warehouse record card, acceptance certificate), parameters of search forms, information fields were finalized.
Key Results
At the moment, AVARDA has a central office and 7 branches of Euroservice, with a total number of users of more than 150 people. Also, many medical representatives in the regions have the ability to connect to the system. If you have a laptop and wireless Internet, you can connect to the system and work online.

- Due to implementation of AVARDA ERP system, system downtime has been reduced to almost zero
- It is possible to fine-tune the system for the needs of each department and department.
- The company's business processes and interaction between departments have improved.
