Krasnodarzoovetsnab (KZVS) (EME WMS)

Goods for animal most different types are stored in the two-storeyed covered warehouse Krasnodarzoovetsnab with a total area of 2400 sq.m (for veterinary drugstores, pet-shops, poultry farms and different nurseries). On each floor zones with the nomenclature are differentiated.

In a warehouse both rack and floor storage on 8380 pallets is used. In a warehouse 7 workstations for work of operators are installed. The warehouse works with active use of the shipping documentation – for the customer 17 pieces of the shipping documentation Intermec CK3 and 3 Intermec PD 42 printers were delivered.

For reduction of time of processing of excesses at goods acceptance the special module of reconciliations was configured. EME.WMS does reconciliation with ASN and in the presence of discrepancies between the actual and expected quantity, creates tasks for movements of excess goods to the corresponding block in a warehouse.

Function which was included into the new version of EME.WMS 4.0 – input of a barcode of goods from the terminal – was developed especially for KZVS. This module significantly facilitates to the warehouse worker acceptance of new goods. In the absence of a barcode in a system, but existence it on a pallet, the storekeeper quickly finds goods directly from a data collection terminal (without departing from pallets) by the article or the name, selects unit of measure, scans a barcode and this barcode automatically is assigned to these goods.
