In Pharmstandard Group the system of unified communications is upgraded

The Intact company upgraded a corporate system of unified communications in the Pharmstandard Group (G). The system constructed based on solutions of Cisco integrates the IP telephony, a video conferencing, service of instant messaging and performs integration with a corporate directory service of holding. Unrolled at 5 distributed offices of the customer, a system is used by more than 3500 users.

The large number of geographically distributed offices "Pharmstandard" does the system of communications by a crucial element of corporate IT infrastructure. In development of Pharmstandard company of formation of a system of communications solutions of different vendors were used. In 2016 Pharmstandard Group made the decision on creation of a single scalable system of communications.

"We created the infrastructure from the moment of emergence of Pharmstandard company in 2004. We got a part of assets during merge of separate legal entities to group, we created a part independently, relying on relevant, at the time of implementation, requirements of business and a reality of the market of telecommunications. In 2015 we approached the next stage of calculation of efficiency of ownership and development of infrastructure during which the company management made the decision on upgrade of a telecommunications system in a uniform complex based on mono-vendor. Of course, besides that to us the modern solution which will allow to solve our current problems was required, we carried out also work on multiple factor analysis of existing solutions and their cost", – Dmitry Sadeev, the director of the department of IT providing says Pharmstandard.

As a basis for creation of a system of unified communications the Cisco Unified Communications Manager platform was selected. Also corporate system of unified communications is integrated with the solutions of Microsoft company used in Pharmstandard Group: corporate directory and mail server. Thanks to it users get access to the address directory, the calendar and presence statuses directly from message exchange systems, an audio-and video conferencing now.

When implementing the project the INTACT company was faced by a task to integrate all elements of a system of unified communications in diverse structure of networks on a single platform of Cisco Unified Communication Manager. Among services it is necessary to celebrate the Meet-Me conferences with a connectivity of users to "virtual rooms" and the Jabber Guest web application for implementation of the modern and protected external communications. The client of Jabber does possible a full-fledged work using mobile solutions and secure remote access to corporate services of unified communications.
