Fondy Global enters Kazakhstan market

In March, the international payment gateway Fondy Global sold the franchise to a partner organization in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan e-commerce market is the most promising of all possible in the CIS space. Thus, the average check in 2016 compared to 2015 increased by 31%, while in Russia and Ukraine the growth was only 6%, and in Belarus it decreased by 5%. The volume of the e-commerce market itself over the same period of time increased by 70% compared to 22% of the Russian market.

Kozenko Maxim, CIO of the international payment gateway Fondy Global shares responsibility between companies: "Within the framework of this business model, the partner is charged with: registration of a legal entity and purchase of a domain name, negotiations with banks for further conclusion of contracts for organizing processing, ensuring organizational work (attracting customers, signing contracts, opening accounts), as well as marketing support for the enterprise. In turn, our specialists provide a technical platform, integrate with banks, set up financial processes in the back-office for settlements with clients and are engaged in customer support. "

The basis for the development of a new direction in the business of the payment gateway was requests from existing loyal customers who want to accept payments in other jurisdictions, as well as incoming proposals to open a representative office of the company in other countries. The franchise is the best option that takes into account the wishes of customers and the company's development strategy.

Fondy launched an online checkout service

On February 13, 2017, Fondy announced the launch of an online cash desk service.

As part of the additions that entered into force on February 1, 2017 to the 54-FZ of KKT, from February 13, the online cash desk service became available to customers of the international payment gateway Fondy.

To comply with the requirements of federal law, trade and service enterprises operating in the Internet environment must provide data to the tax authorities, in addition to buying and ensuring uninterrupted operation of cash registers. Which suggests a number of features:

  • execution of an agreement and integration with a bank or payment service for receiving payments,
  • entering into a contract with a provider ensuring the registration of fiscal data transactions,
  • organize integration with services that register operations in the OFD or buy a cash register and configure everything yourself with constant maintenance of the cash register.

The Fondy payment gateway in its decision proposes to simplify the process of introducing online cash desks before concluding contracts, exclude from integration a company that registers and transmits fiscal data - this service will be provided together with the integration of the payment protocol of FONDY itself - the company will take over the process of transferring and registering data to the fiscal authority, provide the merchant with reporting - electronic fiscal checks.

The online store needs to get an EDS for the cash register, remotely rent the cash register and register it with the OFD. There is no need to buy and install a cash register.

The law provides for the registration of the operation as fiscal and the provision of information to the tax authority within five minutes. In the case of an online platform offering physical goods (clothing, electronics, etc.), this will cause difficulties, since there may be no goods in stock, the information has already been provided to the fiscal authority and, accordingly, it is necessary to return to the online cash desk. The FONDY payment gateway has implemented a "deferred sale" mechanism, which implies the following algorithm of actions and will help to minimize the registration of return transactions in the OFD:

  • ordering goods by the buyer;
  • blocking money in the buyer's account;
  • Check whether the merchandise is available in the warehouse.
  • debiting money in case of availability of goods;
  • registration of the purchase and submission of data to the tax authority;
  • providing an electronic fiscal check.

This way the merchant is protected from registering an incorrect operation.

The introduction of online cash registers by the legislator should not affect the purchase process for the end user, on the one hand. On the other hand, it somewhat complicates the work of trade and service enterprises, because CCPs should operate in 24x7x365 mode, and this is an additional cost to ensure uninterrupted operation of equipment and Internet connection. In addition to integration and configuration, we offer merchants a service such as renting an online cash register. That is, the store rents a cash register, and we are engaged in a full range of services, which allows the merchant to focus on his work and not radically rebuild his own business processes.
