On July 21, 2015 PSI Logistics GmbH implemented a system for management of transportation and sorting of baggage.

The project of reconstruction provides the organization of a highly effective system of transportation and sorting of baggage thanks to implementation of the software solution from PSI Logistics PSIairport/BHS.

The complexity of this project is connected with round-the-clock operation of the airport. Due to the lack of prohibition on night flights and work of the airport in the round-the-clock mode seven days a week an information system need to be replaced, without allowing idle times in its work. Being a specialist in similar projects of updating of information systems, the PSI Logistics company will make implementation, without interrupting operation of the equipment. On project implementation only six months during which it is necessary to execute a system design were allotted, to carry out numerous tests and to pass the long period of test operation. Re-equipment of the pipeline of transportation of baggage and system implementation of management will come to the end at a boundary of 2015/16.

More than eleven million passengers, 119 destination points and 54 airlines — are like that key performance indicators of the airport of Václav Havel which is included into number 20 of the air ports of Europe. The German airports and many international nodes of air traffic, for example, the airports of Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Vienna, use at registration of passengers and baggage software solutions of PSI Logistics company which is one of market leaders on development of end-to-end systems for the airports.
