Became MTT service provider of IPX for MTS

JSC Multiregional Transit Telecom (MTT), the operator of multiservices of communication, IP services, telecommunication and services of transit of traffic, became in the summer of 2016 service provider of IPX/GRX for PJSC MTS based on the tender held by the operator.

More than ten recognized international IPX providers participated in the tender. MTT was succeeded to provide accomplishment of all stated requirements and to prolong operation of the contract on provision of services of IPX/GRX for MTS as the reserve supplier.

Development of LTE around the world does IPX by the demanded and modern tool for development of connectivity of high-speed mobile networks. Thanks to service, telecom operators can provide Internet access and high quality of services in roaming. Implementation of IPX from MTT allowed MTS in 2013 of the first among the Russian operators to provide to the subscribers services of the international roaming in LTE network.

For the MTT IPX is one of strategic directions which provides to partners and clients a broad spectrum of technological capabilities on providing services to final subscribers with the different quality levels of service.

IPX (IP eXchange) is service for ensuring transfer of different types of IP services between operators and service providers of different types (mobile networks, the fixed networks, Internet access, etc.) as within the country, and at the international level. In particular, IPX is necessary for service of subscribers in roaming in networks of fourth generation (LTE).
