IT: Universal designer of EDMS

On April 27, 2016 the ID-Management Technologies company received the certificate on state registration of the computer program "The functional module "Universal Designer of EDMS".

"The universal designer of EDMS" is a software product which will allow specialists of customer companies in most cases independently (without involvement of developers) to create the electronic document management system (EDMS) and to manage settings of the created application solution.

"The universal designer of EDMS" is implemented on the basis of components of the open source (OS):

• Apache Lucene is the component allowing to organize search in the maintenance of content;
• JasperReports - the designer of reports;
• Activity is a component for creation and business process modeling;
• Vaadin is a component for creation of web interfaces.

"The universal designer of EDMS" consists of the following modules:

• "Management of document types" – allows to define:
  • document types which will be considered and processed in EDMS;
  • attributive structure which is necessary for the registration form of this or that document type;

• "Business process management" – allows to manage routing of documents, determining the list and the sequence of task performance by the document;
• Management of reporting – allows to create report and printed forms of any complexity;
• "Management of roles and powers" – allows to manage roles and powers of users in EDMS;
• Management of interface – allows to manage the EDMS interface using ready library of widgets (interface item collections for accomplishment of a certain feature set) and also to create own widgets. Management of the interface to well applied administrators regarding creation, and to users – regarding management of settings of the personal the automated jobs (AJ). Everyone the automated workplace contains a personal set of the folders and functions necessary for a certain business user.

The solution created on the basis of "The universal designer of EDMS" provides opportunities:

• access to EDMS from any workplace (support OS iOS and Android);
• preview of documents;
• viewing data on control panels, charts and in dynamic reports;
• uses of analytics of contents and processes in real time that allows to understand, predict and improve performance measures of the organizations.
