Tele2 increased the capacity of the channel on Sakhalin

On July 4, 2016 the press service of TransTeleCom announced increase in capacity of a digital channel on section of own backbone network Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Kholmsk for Tele2^[1].

Project Results

The macroregional branch "Sakhalin" of TransTeleCom company on section of a backbone network Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Kholmsk increased capacity of a digital channel for Tele2 from 30 Mbps to 50 Mbps.

The project is executed within implementation of an investment program of Tele2 on upgrade of transport networks.

We accumulate rich experience of work with cellular operators, fiber optic infrastructure of a TTK on Sakhalin allows to expand digital channels in the shortest possible time. Two months ago the TTK provided to Tele2 a digital channel with the guarantee speed of data transmission of 30 Mbps on section Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Poronaysk. Today we expanded a digital channel on one large section: Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Kholmsk. We are ready to further cooperation increase. Our cooperation with a TTK began in 2012, with the beginning of our business activity on Sakhalin. We needed the reliable partner with powerful infrastructure which would allow to be scaled depending on our requirements. For these years we addressed to TransTeleCom more than once.
