CST: National biometric platform (project)

The offer of CST consists in creation of the platform and base of biometric prints of users of national scale on the basis of sensing technologies of the personality on a voice and the person. Such platform could provide remote authentication on the basis of biometric signs of users in any remote channels of service: mobile applications, web clients or contact centers.

As envisioned by CST, the National biometric platform will become not just more reliable and convenient, than password protection, SMS, "USB sticks", etc. the mechanism of remote access to services and services. It will become the tool for increase in efficiency of interaction of the state with business and society.

Among possible scopes of application: the electronic government (state services), telemedicine, remote education, e-commerce (including control of remote purchases of medicines), financial and legal sectors of economy regarding confirmation of transactions. Use of the platform for biometric access control on important infrastructure facilities, for example, sports stadiums is also possible.

"Let not all consider perspective of implementation of biometric verification in such spheres as telemedicine, real for the next years so far, but I can tell, as in banks some time ago it seemed a fantasy. Nevertheless practice proved that biometric client authentication at remote service – it not only is real, but also it is convenient, safe and profitable. CST, for example, last year implemented voice authentication of clients in contact center of one of banks of group Raiffeisen. Therefore I can tell with complete confidence that the future of reliable and convenient confirmation of the personality at remote service is a biometrics", - the development director of CST Zakrevsky Alexey commented.
