MT8821C is the analyzer of radio signals which is the universal device. It can be used for testing of transceivers of the user devices or act as the emulator of the base station. Software packages do MT8821C by a powerful product which allows to perform testing of LTE 4x4 MIMO of DL and LTE Advanced DL CA of 5CC.

The solution is available in several versions. The version of MX882112C-012 is intended for testing of the descending LTE communication line frequency-division of channels and support 4x4 MIMO.

The software in combination with the analyzer of radio signals allows to obtain information on the capacity of radio-frequency receivers (LTE 2x2 MIMO of DL) and also to perform testing of transfer of IP of data on the user devices with support of LTE 4x4 MIMO of DL.

Versions of MX882112C-051 and MX882113C-051 are used for LTE assessment with frequency and time division of channels and support of aggregation of the bearing 5CC. Use of these firmwares together with the hardware Parallelphone tool, allows Anritsu MT8821C primenyatyanalizator for testing of capacity of the user devices with LTE Advanced DL CA of 5CC.

All versions of the signal analyzer have the simple user interface. The LTE IP Data Transfer function includes different IP applications, Throughput Monitor allows to estimate capacity of IP and physical lines in real time.

One more innovation is the MX882164C VoLTE Echoback application intended for testing of energy consumption of devices when using voice services VoLTE. The application is supported by broadband adaptive coding with the variable speed (AMR-WB) and also Narrow Band AMR — the sound codec which is narrow-band option of AMR.

Key technology for fall forward in LTE Advanced is aggregation of carrier frequencies which integrates several carrier frequencies in one, and MIMO technology which assumes use of several antennas for communication.

With release in September, 2015 of the software for measurement of the descending lines with aggregation of 4CC, the Anritsu MT8821C analyzer became the first means for assessment of the user devices with LTE Advanced DL 4CC 2x2 MIMO. The new version supplements functionality of the popular Anritsu MT8821C analyzer, providing support of testing of LTE of 4x4 MIMO DL UE already now and a possibility of the analysis of DL CA 5CCs UE in the future.
