Content

On May 11, 2016 NEOLANT Group announced agreement signature with JSC Gidroproyekt Institute about cooperation for promotion and project implementation of PJSC RusHydro on the basis of technologies of multidimensional modeling at design, reconstruction/construction and operation of objects of hydropower in Russia and abroad[1].

Project Tasks

For design of hydropower and water management constructions JSC Gidroproyekt Institute uses technologies of multidimensional modeling, result - the project information model (IM) of a construction. For May, 2016 the RusHydro group manages more than 70 the operating objects of renewable power which information models are not created.

For permission of problems of operation, reconstruction and upgrade of objects the value of an information model is highest, with its help achievement of resource optimization is possible.

Project Progress

For the purpose of development of project model in construction and operation, together with JSC NEOLANT the pilot project based on the Volga hydroelectric power station is executed. Within the project by means of InterBridge the model was "submerged" in the IT environment of NEOSINTEZ – the platform for management of lifecycle of an industrial facility.

As a result the digital prototype of the Volga hydroelectric power station received the functionality necessary for the solution of applied tasks of construction, reconstruction and operation, and value from such multidimensional model for the direct owner, i.e. RusHydro, increased many times. There was an opportunity:

  • increase controllability, transparency and predictability of production processes at all stages of lifecycle of an object;
  • improve quality of the made decisions due to full and timely information and technology support;
  • provide integrity (an exception of organizational, functional, information, financial gaps) and coordination of information flows between different engineering disciplines, contractors and stages of lifecycle;
  • increase culture and quality of operation of an asset due to centralization and consolidation of technical information of the enterprise, reduction of time for identification and elimination of defects, accomplishment of complex repair work.

Realities are like that that important it is not simple to implement projects of constructions and to support their operation, and to do it most effectively. Creation of multidimensional model and its application allow to increase significantly our competitiveness including on the international scene. Implementation of technologies of information modeling in PJSC RusHydro, as an integral part of the project of a construction and maintenance of operation – difficult, but quite implementable task. We are glad that with it we are helped by specialists of JSC NEOLANT. Application of import-independent products is a necessary condition of uninterrupted project implementation now.
