Beltel completed multimedia equipment of the SZFMITs federal telemedicine advisory center of V.A. Almazov

The Beltel system integrator completed at the beginning of 2016 the project on multimedia equipping of the federal telemedicine advisory center Federal State Budgetary Institution Severo-Zapadny the federal medical research center of V.A. Almazov of the Russian Ministry of Health. The center created based on modern technologies allows to hold the telemedicine consultations, educational seminars, remote meetings and other actions aimed at the development of the industry and rendering the most high-quality medical assistance to patients.

As noted, within creation of federal telemedicine network Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation allocated funds for upgrade of the telemedicine advisory centers in 21 federal medical centers of Russia for the solution of the following tasks: carrying out the emergency, urgent and planned consultations of doctors of the medical organizations of the subjects of the Russian Federation using telemedicine technologies; holding the video, audio-training seminars, lectures on profiles of activity of the center, exchange of the best practices and medical information between medical specialists; maintenance in current status of information databases on profiles of activity of the center; participation in the conference calls which remotely are carried out by the Russian Ministry of Health.

The winner of competition on project implementation recognized Beltel system integrator. Among the customer's arguments for benefit of the choice of the proposed solution: the available cost of ownership of TCO at the expense of the high density of the proposed solution, is less than electric power, it is less than cooling; a possibility of consolidation based on a single platform for joint work of the modern and traditional systems of telephone communication and video conferences; simple deployment, administration, scaling, flexible options of management; the technologies of fault tolerance of the central website which are built in and checked by time; growth of a system together with growth of requirements.

Within the project specialists of Beltel performed all complex of works, since solution development and finishing it with a commissioning and integration with the existing multimedia infrastructure of organization. The telemedicine advisory center which includes the negotiation zone on eight places equipped with the system of a video conferencing for holding remote meetings and six jobs of the consulting physicians intended for carrying out telemedicine consultations, participation in video conferences with attending physicians and in video consultations with involvement of other specialists was as a result created.

Jobs of consulting physicians are in addition equipped the document cameras with the built-in tablets of illumination for display of x-rays, slides and negatives that allows to exchange necessary information.

Feature of the constructed media complex is its integration allowing to be connected to audio-and video conferences using the different services deployed in medical institution practically from any computer of the center.
