Project Description
In the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Tver region the monitoring system of departmental communication channels, network equipment, a video conferencing, the emergency notification and radiation control is implemented.
As a monitoring system the software product of the company Tibbo Systems AggreGate Network Manager on the basis of the universal AggreGate platform which allowed to create the system which is completely meeting the requirements of the customer was selected. As the actuator the module Tibbo Project System with discrete outputs is selected. It is the programmable controller which due to the modular architecture allows to assemble the individual device under a task and not to overpay for not used functions. TPS is already supported by the used monitoring system.
Support of AggreGate Network Manager of all versions of the SNMP protocol allows to collect all necessary information from devices. Thanks to SNMP v3 security of network does not decrease. On 36 routers used as gateways in the local area networks of areas and on 10 Cisco switches at the main office SNMP agents were configured. It allowed to obtain data on communication channels and network interfaces. Indicators of loading of the processor, memory use became also available. The majority of devices allows to trace temperature, a status of power supplies and fans. In each of areas SNMP agents at all workstations were configured.
On project completion the customer received in the order the convenient instrument of monitoring and management of network equipment, the equipment for conference communication and workstations. Costs for diagnostics of network as the monitoring system precisely indicates the place and an origin of problems were significantly reduced. In addition it was succeeded to implement without additional costs on uniform a reliable control system of sensors of radiation.
