Vietsovpetro implemented means of remote monitoring over construction of wells

On July 12, 2016 the OT-OIL company declared system implementation of control of operation of a well stock in structure of CIS of JV Vietsovpetro.

Project Tasks

The project - a part of the IT strategy of JV Vietsovpetro approved in 2011-2013. The solution is created on the platform of a product line ATHOLL IV, razrabotannoyot-OIL for process automation in energy industry.

Works in the project began in January, 2014, after the victory OT-OIL in the international tender.

Project Progress

During the project works are performed:

• licenses of the ATHOLL IV.2 software applications are delivered: ATHOLL, ATHOLL platform. Program GTE, ATOLL. Repairs of wells, ATHOLL. Construction of wells, ATHOLL. Well stock, ATHOLL. Navigator and ATHOLL. Integrator;
• the detailed engineering design of a System is created;
• forms and reports are adapted;
• IT infrastructure is unrolled and applications on the platform of implementation in Vungtau (Vietnam) are completely configured;
• reference books of information systems and databases are unified and synchronized;
• historical information is collected and loaded;
• execution engines of procedural loading from 14 data sources are configured (the data warehouse includes historical and the current structured and unstructured information);
• transition to the experimental version ATHOLL IV.3 is executed.

The system interface is available in three languages: Vietnamese, Russian and English.

25 procedural business processes of JV Vietsovpetro are automated by the created solution. Contains more than 70 screen forms, 730 completed tables for storage of trade and geologic-geophysical information. A system allows to receive more than 40 procedural and several tens of operational reports. Information on more than 500 shelf wells is loaded into it:

• 6 fields
• 4 prospecting areas;
• 38 hydraulic engineering constructions (GTS);
• 9 SPBU.

The customer created the expanded working group as a part of 60 specialists of all divisions of the enterprise participating in processes. From the contractor created project office in the territory of the customer, expanding possibilities of production sites OT-OIL, the most part of service works was undertaken by the company - the local partner of TruTech. Differentiation of areas of responsibility assisted the operational solution of the arising questions in implementation process of the project plan.

Project Results

In the summer of 2015 a system is transferred to commercial operation on all business processes at the same time and its warranty technical support is begun. More than 50 employees OT-OIL, 10 people of partner Vietnamese company TrueTech and group of specialists from JV Vietsovpetro took part in the project.

More than 500 users worked at a start stage in a system.

As a result of implementation:

• the effective instrument of operational obtaining consistent  and reliable information is created;
• regulations of maintaining information on places of its emergence are aligned and instruments of information input are configured;
• the structured archive of operation of a well stock is created and its operational updating is provided.

This project allowed to increase in crisis time efficiency of decision-making at the earliest stages of the beginning of deterioration in utilization properties of wells, to provide all separate participants of business process with uniform information for achievement of the planned result that as a result led to reduction of operating costs. Project Development

On July 25, 2017 the OT-OIL company announced start in operation integrated IT reshenya together with Petrovayzer company on the ATHOLL IV.3 platform by request of JV Vietsovpetro.

For the solution of a problem of remote monitoring of process of drilling the software module of Petrovayzer company - "Remote monitoring of drilling" is selected.

The technology allows to expand planning process and control on construction of wells, access to operational information about the drilling course on the shelf and to provide the single interface to users. Increase in efficiency of an information access will reduce risks of emergence of accidents, violations of technologies and failure of aggregate terms of construction of offshore facilities.

Specialists of Petrovayzer and OT-OIL companies:

• created the technical, project and work documentation;
• adapted software to features of business process of the Customer;
• configured and integrated applications, both at the corporate level, and on drilling platforms.

After three-months trial operation, including training of specialists of JV Vietsovpetro, transfer to the mode of day-to-day running is executed.
