The Kurskhimvolokno company will produce polyamide technical thread with the subsequent production of cord fabric by parent company (JSC Kuybyshevazot) on its basis.

Within the project worth 1.5 billion rubles production of polyamide thread in three main directions is planned.
- Production of technical threads for production of the tire cord used at release of truck, passenger-and-freight, aviation tires and also buses for agricultural machinery.
- Production of ropes and tools of industrial fishing. These products will be demanded by Russian regions with the developed fishing industry and also in the countries of the FSU and beyond.
- Production of technical fabrics for release of the conveyer belts used in the coal mining industry. The key consumer of products – "The Kursk factory of technical fabrics" - is located in the same region, as the borrower of IDF.
The market share of Kurskhimvolokn on technical thread will increase from 75% in 2015 to 80% in 2023, having partially substituted import from Belarus. Besides, the company is going to export up to 14% of products to the countries of Southeast Asia, Iran, India.
The company intends to bring a market share on polyamide cord fabric from 25% to 40% by 2023.
