Vyksunksy steel works

The Vyksa Steel Works (VSW) entering into United Metallurgical Company brought the module of payroll calculation (Payroll) of the Oracle E-Business Suite system into trial operation. VSW is the largest domestic manufacturer of electrowelded straight-line-seam pipes of different diameter for production and transportation of oil and gas, construction, the housing-and-municipal sphere.

The agreement on implementation of the module between Open Technologies company and VSW was signed in April, 2005. The project was executed within implementation of the ERP system of Oracle E-Business Suite at the OMK enterprises. 

The module of payroll calculation is integrated with the local automated systems operated at the enterprise, with earlier implemented module of personnel management the ERP system of OEBS and the implemented module of time keeping. During the project converting of data from the substituted automated systems was carried out.

The functionality of Payroll allows to make calculation for any wage systems used at the enterprise (hourly, price-work, etc.); perform charges and deduction of any degree of complexity; prepare tax and statistical reporting according to the approved forms; transfer cost information to personnel to the systems of accounting and control an information access by appointment to users of roles and powers.

Project works were conducted using an implementation methodology of business applications (AIM) of Oracle corporation.
