Transtelecom expands presence in Hong Kong

The Transtelecom company organized the second communication hub in Hong Kong, having placed the IP equipment in one of data centers of the Pacific Rim of Equinix HK1. Now technical means of a TTK in Hong Kong are concentrated in two communication hubs that allows to expand availability of services to clients of the company, to increase their reliability and to reduce the cost of the organization of "the last mile".

The first communication hub of Transtelecom in Asia was brought into commercial operation in 2006 based on the center of network interconnection MEGA-iAdvantage in Hong Kong, and a year later the TTK organized a point of presence in Tokyo. In 2007 Transtelecom became the first Russian telecommunication company which opened the representation in the Pacific Rim, in Beijing.

One of the largest in Russia fiber-optical network TransTeleCom is optimal for transfer of traffic between the adjacent states and acts as the shortest bridge between Europe and Asia. Now transit company services are demanded as at Asian, and European operators and corporate customers.
