The administration of the Tomsk region agreed with Tele2 about interaction in development of communication services

On June 22, 2016 Tele2 company announced achievement of the arrangement on cooperation with administration of the Tomsk region.

Project Tasks

Tele2 and administration of the Tomsk region signed the agreement on interaction in the field of development of communication services.

Within these arrangements of Tele2 is going to invest in 2016 in region economy more than 330 million rubles.

The agreement purpose - determination of bases of cooperation of Tele2 and administration of the Tomsk region in the field of development of telecommunication infrastructure and also increase in investments into economy of the region and implementation of joint socially oriented projects.

The investment program assumes increase in capacity and capacity, expansion of an area of coverage of Tele2 network.

For June 22, 2016 more than 77% of residents of the Tomsk region are available communication services of the operator in standard 3G. About 95% of the population of the region live in a coverage of 2G-network.

Agreement signature about cooperation in the field of development of communication services with administration of the Tomsk region is the practical embodiment of strategy of Tele2 which including assumes formation of effective mechanisms of interaction with the regional authorities. Tele2 is ready to invest considerable means in development of mobile services in the region, expanding a coverage and increasing capacity of networks. All residents of the Tomsk region, despite the large territory of the region, need high-quality and available mobile communication.
