DataLine CloudBase

CloudBase is service for management of databases in a cloud.

For September, 2018 within service are offered:

• Creation of the DB by the set parameters placed on virtual machines in DataLine cloud.
• Management and technical support of platforms of the qualified database manager with experience not less than 3 years.
• Licensed software for a DB of Microsoft SQL of edition Web, Standard and Enterprise.

Possibilities of service (for September, 2018):

• Complete solution: service includes necessary software, lease and administration of computing resources, network components, storage systems, backup, OS and DBMS.
• Expense optimization: there are no capital costs of creation and service of databases and also support of necessary IT infrastructure.
• Scalability: flexible model of monthly payments with payment only for the used resources. An opportunity to quickly increase or reduce quantity of virtual resources.
• Optionally: placement of the personal data processed by applications according to requirements of law 152-FZ.

For September, 2018 the line of DataLine includes three services:

• MS SQL-as-a-Service is creation, placement and administration of MS SQL;
• MySQL-as-a-Service is creation, placement and administration of MySQL;
• PostgreSQL-as-a-Service is creation, placement and administration of PostgreSQL.

2018: Launching

The DataLine company announced on September 6, 2018 start of a line of CloudBase services for providing cloud databases.

As developers of services explained TAdviser, CloudBase is urged to help the companies to optimize maintenance expenses of databases. Within DataLine services will undertake a full range of tasks of creation, placement and administration of databases and will ensure smooth operation of platforms.

CloudBase is the first line of the DataLine services working on model PaaS (the platform as service). As of September 6 it includes three services: for databases MS SQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL.

On the basis of cloud solutions engineers of the company create the selected virtual machines where they develop databases with parameters, necessary for the customer. In use they keep track of availability and provide performance of systems. Thus at customers need for own database administrators disappears. Technical support of services works in mode 24х7х365.

Services it is provided on the basis of a failsafe cloud of CloudLine with the guaranteed availability of 99.96% to the single solution and 99.98% to a cluster solution. Any size of the database is possible. Access to base is provided to the IP address from DataLine data transmission system.

Key feature of services, according to developers, is the detailed agreement on the service level (SLA). Key parameters of performance of systems and indicators of response of technical support to incidents are fixed in it that allows to offer high quality of service for customers, emphasized in the company.
