"Communication security" upgraded IT infrastructure

On August 2, 2016 AF ICL-KPO company announced project completion of upgrade of IT infrastructure in the federal state unitary enterprise "SVYAZ-bezopasnost".

Project Tasks

Business development, emergence of business systems caused growth of load of IT infrastructure. To satisfy business needs, the management of Federal State Unitary Enterprise SVYAZ-bezopasnost made the decision on upgrade of computing resources of the enterprise.

As the contractor in the project AF ICL-KPO company acted. The choice of this company is caused by the fact that earlier specialists of ICL-KPO of AF already executed projects for Federal State Unitary Enterprise SVYAZ-bezopasnost.

Project Progress

At the first stage the team of engineers of the company contractor booked audit of the operating IT infrastructure and a system design taking into account possible business development. Then executed delivery, installation and start of the equipment, virtualization system implementation on the VMware platform in failsafe option. Delivered a backup system on the Veeam software platform.

Prior to project implementation at the Federal State Unitary Enterprise SVYAZ-bezopasnost enterprise of a possibility of virtualization and backup were used not in full. The solution implemented at the enterprise allows to store backup copies of each information system within a year and to automate process of creation and control of their integrity that allows to minimize the volume of data loss and to achieve the guaranteed recovery. In other words, we created so-called basis – highly available environment for effective work of information services of the enterprise. In addition to the systems of virtualization and backup at the enterprise implemented a mail system on the Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 platform, the virtual balancer of KEMP VLM-200 providing high availability of a mail service, both fault-tolerant an antispam and antivirus protection on the platform of the equipment Cisco Ironport C-серии.

Project Results

Within upgrade process we not just updated an obsolete equipment, having replaced it with more modern models. Using specialists of AF ICL-KPO company we built the reliable system ensuring effective and trouble-free functioning of all IT infrastructure. Besides, at the enterprise a failsafe mail system was implemented. Thanks to it the staff of federal state unitary enterprise Federal State Unitary Enterprise SVYAZ-bezopasnost had an opportunity to use a mail service from the mobile devices without prejudice to security of transmitted data.
