On August 5, 2016 the EPAM company announced project completion on creation of the web automation system of partner sales of insurance products in JSC Metlayf.
Project Tasks
Entry into force of the law on sale of life insurance policies online opened on July 4, 2016 additional opportunities to business development, at the same time set for the company the task of creation of a modern automated system of sale of insurance products by means of the Internet and partner channels. Earlier customer interaction and partners was conducted by means of phone and e-mail, and the issued insurance policies were sent clients in paper form through Russian Post. At the same time specialists of the company had to enter into internal systems information on policies in a semi-automatic mode.
Project Progress
Within the project EPAM developed for Metlayf flexible, scalable Business Process Management Suite of "e-Insurance" on the platform IBM WebSphere Application Server and IBM Integration Bus. A system is organized as a set of the independent functional web services interacting with each other and other systems of the company by means of the service bus.
Project Results
After system implementation partners Metlayf had an opportunity to quicker make out orders for insurance products, to provide to the clients a set of necessary documentation, to inform them on the status of an execution of policies.
Clients of the customer using the modern browser or the mobile device at execution of policies can browse and make online changes to the data, pay services SK using bank cards and receive in electronic form an accompanying document package.
Staff of the company had an opportunity to control a status of orders, to quickly make corrections to insurance plans and programs, to create and edit configurations of document packages for clients.
In processing there is automated information transfer about the sold policies in the insurance accounting system. Completely in the automated mode printed forms of insurance documentation, including insurance policies form.
The developed system is integrated with back office applications, a payment platform, gateways for SMS and e-mail mailings, other solutions. The selected service-oriented architecture will provide further expansion of functionality of a system for implementation of business processes.
Metlayf aims to provide services of the high level on each of stages of customer interaction and partners. The implemented project will help us to promote seriously in this direction as now for purchase of insurance products we can offer new, convenient, fast and reliable web service.
