PowerShape is a product for creation of projects of difficult 3D models.
On August 5, 2016 the Autodesk company announced release of version 2017 of software of PowerShape.
According to the statement of the company, process of creation of 3D models became more effective, by means of:
- graphic display of hardly accessible zones for which three-axial processing is not suitable;
- the function of a task of stiffening ribs allowing to create automatically working surfaces of electrodes for processing of narrow grooves on the electroerosive equipment;
- improvements in the module PowerShape Electrode Wizard of support of the electroerosive equipment at the hardware level that allows to integrate it into production process more fully;
- advanced function of interface of triangulated surfaces that it will be especially demanded at transactions of the return design.

The version of software of PowerShape 2017 is available since August 1, 2016 in three options: Standard, Premium and Ultimate. The product will be available according to termless and temporary licenses, on a subscription of Autodesk which will give access to software of Autodesk at lower initial cost.
