Tibbo Project System

Tibbo Project System is a modular hardware platform for creation of own devices of automation. As the platform in Tibbo Technology understand set from the following elements: the motherboard with the installed microcontroller, input-output payments, the body of future device and the software allowing to write a firmware under the created device. At an order stage the client himself selects what elements to it will be necessary also that will be in the delivery.

We begin with the choice of the printed circuit board on which all logic of the device will work in the future. Actually, these payments are the modules EM1000 which are built in (embedded) which the Tibbo company releases already for a long time. This time modules "turned inside out" and now it is already printed circuit board with contact pads. Running forward we will tell that debugging of programs is performed directly via the Ethernet interface. Thus, having a "naked" payment to it it is already possible to be connected and try the hand in programming.

Tibbits (from engl. Tibbo bits) are the small fees of input-output placed in the body. Tibbits can be used as independently (work with the majority of the known microcontrollers), and as a part of Tibbo Project System. Depending on functions, tibbits can occupy one contact pad or complete section (two platforms) on a payment. Installation on a payment is made elementary. The producer provided installation of a plate of vibroprotection — the plate "presses" tibbits to a payment, without allowing them to jump out when transporting or using in the conditions of the increased vibration.

Production of the body in piece volumes — inadmissible pleasure. Too high price. Even if there is small-lot production of payments, the body all the same remains a headache for developers of devices. And use of an open payment on an object is not always convenient, not esthetically and leads to risk of failure of the equipment. Therefore would be not bad all our system to place in the body. No sooner said than done. The producer provided several types of the universal Tibbo Project Box body. The body consists of several components. The lower cover on which the payment, sidewalls, an upper cover of the device is established. Tibbits connectors successfully "fit" into sidewalls and the body of the device. Distinctive feature is that on an upper cover the transparent plastic window is set (in the version without display) under which it is possible to place stickers with signatures. It is very convenient when in a mounting cabinet it is not necessary to guess "what wire from where?".

Online configurator

For convenience and simplification of selection process of components of the device, online a configurator of Tibbo Project System is developed. In a configurator it is possible to work with the projects (which can be saved by the local machine) where it is possible to select printed circuit boards, available tibbits, to do convenient configuration. The logic of a configurator will not allow to make a mistake, to place nearby tibbits which should be carried on a payment and will trace a tokopotrebleniye of all device.

Programming

For programming of devices own TIDE environment is used (it is not laundry detergent, TIDE – Tibbo Integrated Development Environment). Programming and debugging is made directly through a local network (Ethernet). Wednesday loyal to the user, convenient, has all necessary functions, including break points and a possibility of step-by-step passing of the program. The web the interface can be programmed here.

The programming language is Tibbo Basic. It is the typified object-oriented event programming language from the producer.

How to manage it from the outside?

It is possible to integrate the received device into any system, having with own hand written the data exchange protocol. Also, it is possible to order development of drivers for the device from the producer. You write terms of reference, the producer implements a program part. Strictly speaking, the producer can give development in general to all program part.

Having connected AggreGate Agent library which is distributed for free, you can connect the device to the AggreGate platform from Tibbo Technology is a software platform of automation. On AggreGate the flexible SCADA/HMI configurations, access control, automation of buildings, etc. are already implemented.
