Corporate University is a unified information system aimed at maintaining the continuous process of training and development of managers and the personnel reserve of management. The solution allows you to automate the process of planning individual development programs, further training and evaluation of achievement of the set educational goals, acquisition of the necessary competencies required for professional activities.

Designed for managers and management personnel reserve.

Solves the following problems:

• Provision of personal information space ("Personal Office of the listener") to the managers of the company - listeners of the "Corporate University."
• Automate the process of forming and harmonizing individual development plans.
• Provision of educational and methodological materials to the heads of the company - students of the Corporate University.
• Operational communication between students and employees of the Corporate University in matters of coordination of individual development plans.
• Planning of face-to-face and remote training activities.
• Provision of information space for joint solution of production tasks.

Features of a system

The implementation of individual development training programs is aimed at identifying and further developing the point competencies and skills of students. The level and nature of the production load, location geography, status and individual characteristics of the participants - all these factors must be taken into account when planning, conducting training events and administering student profiles.

In addition to the economic factors, the quality and level of organization of the educational process, it is necessary to take into account the factor of confidentiality of information and the required level of its protection during the entire training period.

The applied technologies

• Enterprise University is a solution that can be deployed both on the IBM WebSphere-based portal and on the portal based on freely distributed software.
• The solution is implemented as a java-based portlet application using J2EE technologies (Portlet, Servlet, JSP) and includes a set of portlets for different roles in the system.
