"Pat Retail" completed implementation of WMS

2016

On August 15, 2016 the Axelot company announced implementation of "1C: WMS" in logistics division of Pat Retail LLC.

Project Tasks

Main objectives of automation of a warehouse of the company - optimization of use of warehouse space and decrease in influence of a human factor. For the solution of these tasks selected the 1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management 4.0 software product.

Warehouse complex of the company – the enclosed space of 3 thousand m ² with the different height of storage (from 6 to 11 m) and temperature condition of +15 - 20 °C.

Project Progress

Specialists of AXELOT company developed the topological scheme of a warehouse to minimize intersection of worker threads and to reduce time of orientation of workers in a warehouse, configured routing of completing of goods on different commodity groups for an outgoing flow.

During the project with use of technology of barcoding transactions are automated:

• acceptance from the external supplier;
• acceptance of packages of the direction cross docking;
• placement of goods items on storage areas;
• complete set and shipment of goods.

The 1C: WMS system is integrated about "1C: Trade Management", a corporate information system of the company. Five stationary and 10 mobile jobs are automated.

Integration of "1C: WMS" and CIS is carried out on the platform of the software solution AXELOT Datareon ESB. Integration is executed by a project team of the customer with consulting support of specialists of the contractor.

Project Results

Result of implementation of "1C: WMS" in a warehouse of the company:

• "Digitization" of capacity of warehousing;
• Process automation of acceptance from the external supplier, on packages between own outlets;
• Process automation of shipment of goods and also its placement to the storage addresses;
• Collecting of analytics on regulations of execution of operations;
• Carrying out monitoring and scheduling of tasks.

With completion of works in the project the company passed from "situational" management to productive management.

Quality improvement of management accounting helped company management of Pat Retail to make quickly strategic decisions on control of work of a warehouse, became a basis for wiring design of motivation.
