Temocentre completed the organization of the scheme of uninterrupted power of server

On August 16, 2016 the Powercom company announced installation in the server premises of the Moscow center of technology modernization of education (Temocentre) of modular three-phase uninterruptible power supply unit of Powercom ONL-M with a power of 80 kVA.

Project Tasks

For August 16, 2016 SEI Temocentre accompanies all projects connected with automation of basic functions Moscow Department of Education, for example, "School of new technologies", Open department, "Media library of educational resources", "Electronic card in education" and others. Ensuring continuity of access to electronic materials and resources - the key to success of many projects.

Protect all server hardware (19 server racks) from possible malfunctions in the power supply network and to ensure smooth operation of the center - a project task which to execute attracted Ankomp integrator.

Criteria on source selection of uninterrupted power:

• The UPS should support double conversion of the electric power,
• not less than 12 minutes of independent operation at load of 70 kVA,
• programmable dry contacts,
• "hot" replacement of modules and batteries,
• remote monitoring and management.

Project Progress

The power office of the UPS is equipped with four modules on 20 kVA everyone, for autonomy the external battery office answers 280 batteries. The possibility of operational switching to work from the diesel generator which will undertake loading at long shutdowns of energy is implemented.

All preparatory work on installation - design and installation SCS, creation of the scheme of connection of the reserve diesel generator, the company carried out Ankomp. For commissioning UPS Powercom ONL-M specialists of the head service center were attracted POWERCOM. According to the results of the project remote access, monitoring, the warning system of the administrator and complete remote control are configured UPS.

Project Results

19 server racks are protected from problems with power supply. The Ankomp system integrator completed the project having equipped the server room of Moscow Temocentre with the system of uninterrupted power Powercom ONL-M with a power of 80 kVA with a possibility of switching to work from the diesel generator at long (till 5-6 o'clock) interruptions in electrical supply.
