Schneider Electric Thalassa

Thalassa is a line of distribution cabinets from polyester.

On August 16, 2016 the Schneider Electric company provided the upgraded line of Thalassa distribution cabinets, from polyester. Cabinets are intended for protection of electric equipment even in adverse conditions.

Cabinets of the Thalassa family represent constructions of the increased durability with the advanced air conditioning system. Dimensions of products changed in height and width, purchased the light gray RAL 7035 color less subject to sunlight influence.

Products of the line can be used in severe conditions of industrial production, at temperatures up to-50 ̊ With, in the presence of chemically active agents in the atmosphere, dust, oils, potential mechanical impact, in the rain in salt fog. Equipment by anti-vandal protection for operation in places of the general access is possible.

Cabinets guarantee long operation without maintenance and provide protection against defeat with electric current, are recommended for placement of an electrical equipment, for example, at deployment of telephone networks, ADSL networks, fiber optic networks and wireless networks of Wi-fi. Cabinets of Thalassa HD differ in small weight, are scaled, have protection against mechanical influence (IK10). In a line additional standard sizes appeared:

• cabinets of 620 mm in depth are suitable for placement of a telecommunication and electronic equipment of standard 19, frequency drives, etc.;
• cabinets 2000 mm high have the general internal space closed by two doors for access isolation on two compartments and conveniences of operation. Are recommended for use on productions cement, chemical and oil and gas, other industries.

The cabinet is not just a cover, and the whole solution allowing to support the microclimate guaranteeing normal operating conditions of the installed equipment. Cabinets from Thalassa polyester - the ideal solution for the organization of a microclimate, especially in case of installation on the street as polyester has low heat conductivity, it it is necessary to heat less in the winter and to cool in the summer, respectively, to spend for the climate equipment less. Design life of products of a line of Thalassa of 30 years, in normal conditions.

For reliability assurance and performance of work of an electrical equipment in premises and on the street cabinets of Thalassa are completed with the ClimaSys air conditioning system, flat case fans and a metal grid of a HD class of protection of IP55.

Cabinets of Thalassa have the certificate of Green Premium, each series of products passed compliance tests to the IEC, UL and ISO standards.
