Fund of cinema completed implementation of EDMS

On August 17, 2016 the Cognitive Technologies company announced system implementation of electronic document management (EDMS) "E1 Euphrates" in Federal fund of social and economic support of domestic cinematography (Fund of cinema).

Project Tasks

Workflow automation for Fund of cinema is demanded after innovations in the procedure of submission of requests for state support for producers of the movies announced in March, 2016. Among additional requirements which will influence work of producers and, as a result, will become additional load of an information system of Fund of cinema — obligatory complete treasurer supports of the organizations which received subsidies and the contractors, contractors and subcontractors implementing tasks of the supported project. As expected, automation of the documents connected with different agreements, memos and requests within this initiative will simplify and will accelerate all cycle of procedures for selection of state support^[1].

Project Progress

The project is implemented in four stages:

• approval of technical specifications which described all nuances of work with documentation in Fund of cinema;
• stage of implementation of EDMS during which all main divisions of the customer were automated (financial and legal departments, accounting, etc.);
• grade level of use of a system;
• technical support of the implemented system.

Project Results

System implementation helped to optimize information support and an organizational management activity of the customer, work with documents in divisions and departments.

the Project of automation using "Euphrates" mentioned by E1 all array of profile documents of Fund of cinema which before implementation of EDMS were used in organization exclusively in paper form: requests for scenario tenders, estimates on production of movies, marketing strategies on promotion of movies in a domestic box office, court documents on copyright protection on film works, etc.
