DVITs reduced operating expenses due to transfer of infrastructure of branches to LanCloud cloud

Cloud services of LanCloud replaced local IT infrastructure of all DVITs branches, including tens of old telephone exchanges, with the uniform integrated set of cloud services Cloud Office. At the same time the total cost of cloud services of LanCloud appeared below, than only one service of own IT infrastructure managed earlier.
JSC DVITs - one of the first not credit mortgage credit institutions of Russia, was created in 2003 in Vladivostok. The company includes 33 representations in Russia and is the accredited partner of the Federal Agency of Mortgage Housing Lending (AMHL). The head office of the organization in 2013 is transferred to Moscow.
Problems of outdated IT infrastructure
Within several years IT infrastructure of DVITs was under construction on classical architecture, in each new branch the small IT infrastructure was created, traditional telephone exchanges to which local landline phone numbers were connected were established. As the system of e-mail solutions based on Linux were used.
With the business growth, emergence of new branches and increase in number of employees, charges of own IT infrastructure constantly increased. For opening of each new branch it was necessary to purchase the expensive equipment, to set and configure telephone exchanges.
Besides, the current IT services ceased to satisfy to business needs. E-mail required existence of functionality of joint work, planning of meetings, existence of the general base of contacts and an opportunity for work from mobile devices. The outdated system of telephony also did not maintain any criticism from business. Communication between the staff of branches was only via expensive intercity communication lines, there was no opportunity to switch calls of clients between branches. The lack of uniform internal numbering and the address directory, strongly complicated search of the phone number of the necessary employee.
The decision on migration in a cloud
For the purpose of business process optimization and quality improvement of customer service the company management set the task to make global upgrade and integration of IT services in all branches. For implementation of the tasks with the minimum capital costs JSC DVITs addressed cloud provider of LanCloud. Having studied business needs and a status of IT infrastructure of the company, engineers of LanCloud suggested to transfer branches of JSC DVITs to a packet of cloud services of Cloud Office.
LanCloud: Cloud Office is a packet of cloud services of e-mail based on Microsoft Exchange, communications and the IP telephony based on Skype for Business and joint work with documents based on SharePoint. All services are placed in DPC in the territory of Russia, in compliance with the law on personal data.
Project Implementation
Within the project was decided to refuse completely all telephone exchanges in all branches and to transfer all functionality of telephony to a cloud service of Skype for Business. The available landline phone numbers from all regions were connected under the SIP protocol directly to a cloud service of LanCloud. Employees on places for commission and call acceptance need only the computer with the USB headset. All e-mail from the old Linux servers was migrated on a cloud service of Exchange Server. For updating of office applications on computers of users Office 365 Business with monthly payment was unrolled. Project implementation took less than 1 month with the maximum respect for continuity of business processes of the company.
Result of upgrade
As a result the staff of all branches received uniform internal numbering about an opportunity to call each other by the short number and it is easy to switch incoming calls between branches is not dependent on on what of landline numbers the client called. In addition all users had an opportunity to exchange instant messages, to collect video conferences by only pair of clicks of a mouse and also modern business mail with support of uniform contacts, calendars and full mobile access.

Employees in general can work far off practically from any place where there is a connection to network, for example, of the house, business trips or holidays. In terms of economic feasibility it is possible to note, at least, the fact that the monthly cost of use of all cloud service of Cloud Office to us costs cheaper now, than only one service of telephone exchanges in our branches managed earlier", - Gorobets Oleg, the head of department of information technologies and innovations of JSC DVITs reported.
