Elsie Pipe Metallurgic Company controller, (2015)

Programmable logic controller of Elsie Pipe Metallurgic Company - the modular platform for the organization of automation systems of small and medium scale in all sectors of industrial production. The device has modern functionality, a convenient form factor, standard communications and open software environment. The developer company provides tools for the solution of a broad spectrum of problems of industrial automation.

The device maintains variety of communication opportunities, input signals with low quality and has the built-in function of the guaranteed delivery of data. High performance of processor modules, reservation of power modules and communication channels, "hot swap" of modules allow is profitable and with high reliability to apply ELSI-TMK in the local systems of automatic equipment.

As a part of ELSI-TMK the range of modules of the central processor with a different performance, a wide range of modules of discrete and analog input-output, communication modules and power sources for connection to networks of direct and alternating current is provided. Standard industry protocols and interfaces are supported that provides Elsie Pipe Metallurgic Company integration into supervisory control systems and data collection.

Programming of ELSI-TMK in five languages of IEC standard 61131-3 in the open instrumental CoDeSys v3.5 environment is supported.

2016: Elsie is third generation

On August 22, 2016 the Elesi company announced release of third generation of a programmable logic controller of Elsie with expanded functions and in the upgraded body.

The new Elsie Pipe Metallurgic Company controller connected the best of the previous generations and found new features. It became more powerful, quicker, the new system of configuring appeared. Specialists who will work with it do not need to undergo additional training as coding environment is identical former, as always, standard 1131 programming languages are supported. The controller is executed in the body developed by Elesi affiliated enterprise - Manel company. The body with a structural covering became steadier against actions of the destroying character. In Elsie Pipe Metallurgic Company the optimized microprocessor is used, amounts of memory are expanded that allows to implement more difficult programs, to increase the speed of operation of the microcontroller four times^[1].

For project implementation on creation of controllers the company received a grant of the Commercialization program of Fund of assistance to development of small forms of the enterprises in the scientific and technical sphere. The amount of financing is 15 million rubles for a year at joint financing in the same volume from own means.
