For increase in convenience of using and the security level of cards of loyalty the Network of Gazpromneft gas stations selected the solution of Optelio PURE Contactless of Gemalto company. For implementation of an online-system of the loyalty program EMV cards with the double Gemalto Optelio PURE Contactless interface are used, the project is implemented according to the scheme white label. Proximity cards are supported by means of modern Ingenico POS terminals and supported in the systems of the back offices of Gazpromneft gas Station network delivered to OpenWay Service.
Due to use of the international and recognized EMV standard, the new solution allows the company to ensure safety at the level of banking institutions and to reduce risk of fraudulent transactions. Besides, the lack of additional payments in Gemalto Optelio PURE allows to optimize expenses what clients of gas station as a result benefit from.
Cards are compatible to the EMV standard for bank cards and are accepted in own terminal network of the company. Along with basic functions, implementation of contactless technology allows to increase service rate at the checkout to 10 times. Besides, this perspective scalable solution provides the precise plan for deployment of advanced functionality and means sales opportunity of additional benefits for users.
The Gazpromneft gas Station network belongs to one of the largest oil-extracting companies and contains about 1400 stations in Russia and the CIS. "To us on the way" today more than 7 million clients of network use maps of loyalty. A new system is implemented at gas station since January, 2016.
