"The special systems and technologies" were started by WMS in a warehouse complex

On August 24, 2016 the Ant Technologies company announced start of the WMS system of Logistics Vision Suite in a warehouse complex of "Special Systems and Technologies" company.

Project Tasks

The main requirement when choosing WMS - business process management of all warehouses entering a production cycle, beginning from an input on a warehouse of component parts and semi-finished products before shipment of finished goods. It was required to provide a possibility of tracking of products in any point of the movement of a trade inventory, including by the serial numbers created and changing in a warehouse and on production.

SST plant, (2014)

For automation of the warehouses "SST" selected WMS Logistics Vision Suite from a complex with the equipment of shaped coding: Zebra printers and data collection terminals of Motorola.

Project Progress

On the basis of the analysis of warehouse and production business processes of the party approved the work plan according to which the Logistics Vision Suite tuning is performed.

Feature of implementation of WMS Logistics Vision Suite in "Special Systems and Technologies" company - need of accounting of raznotselevy warehouses, various business processes and algorithms of processing, a large number of nomenclature units of different type of finished goods, materials, semi-finished products and types of packagings.

In parallel with implementation of WMS works on adaptation of modules a kitting and single-phase production under the customer requirements including formation of sets, sets, marking, assembly of finished products from component parts and semi-finished products, accounting of supplies and serial numbers at all stages of the movement of a trade inventory are performed.

Algorithms of placement, reservation and replenishment of goods under the order taking into account features of business processes on production (assembly of finished goods and formation of sets) are developed.

Tuning of processes is performed taking into account the principles of FEFO and FIFO, features of work of the customer with defects, returns and regrading, processing of cable products (drums, bays).

Project Results

The ability to integrate Logistics Vision Suite with an external ERP system is maintained at the programming layer of WMS. By means of the module Link Manager tabular integration of LVS with a management system "Galaktika ERP" is executed.
