Technoserv booked an information security audit for PJSC IDGC of the South

The Technoserv company and PJSC IDGC of the South (enters into Rosseti group) announced in August, 2016 project completion on an information security audit of the enterprise. The project deadline made 3 months. During the project 8 corporate information systems and technology networks of the company were inspected.

PJSC IDGC of the South creates base for sustainable development of economy of regions of the South of Russia, relying on consolidation of power assets and increase in efficiency of power supply. Questions of information security support of corporate and technology networks in PJSC IDGC of the South are extremely important and have an impact on processes of the organization of continuity of work of all systems of the company, including processes of tractor feed of the electric power to consumers. Especially it is relevant in the run-up to the FIFA World Cup of 2018 which part of matches will take place in Rostov-on-Don.

Main goals of the project – receiving objective and independent assessment of a current status of security of key information systems, corporate and technology networks of PJSC IDGC of the South and development of recommendations about increase in level of information security were set for start of the project by the management of PJSC IDGC of the South. During the project specialists of Technoserv carried out the analysis of security of 8 information systems and corporate and technology networks of PJSC IDGC of the South, defined characteristic security risks of information. According to the results of audit for the customer the actions plan on increase in level of information security and availability of corporate network PJSC IDGC of the South was made. It consists of more than 10 stages including more than 30 separate actions which accomplishment is calculated until the end of 2018.
