Rostelecom organized access to service VPN for internal corporate network "VTB 24"

On April 29, 2017 the company "Rostelecom" announced providing access to a virtual private network (VPN) VTB 24.

In 2016 the Macroregional branch "Centre" of Rostelecom provided Internet access on the basis of a data network, monitoring of traffic and protection against DDoS attacks. The operator could offer exclusive technical and commercial terms and to become the supplier of 70% of the main VPN channels for departments of VTB 24, having constructed own fiber line of communication at the most part of offices of Bank.

The Rostelecom company organized alternative channels of data transmission for 5 operational offices VTB 24 in the city of Astrakhan. All channels are organized on again constructed fiber lines. Capacity of each channel makes 50 Mbps.

Alternative channels of data transmission are intended for ensuring operability of banking network in case of refusal of the main channels. Reservation is made by the principle of complete autonomy from the main network, including the equipment and communication lines.
