2017: Announcement of release of Ideco Selecta

On February 9, 2017 Ideco announced release of release of filtering system of content on the second half of February, 2017.

Main changes:

• The improved base of a system of content filtering.
• Transparent authorization of users of the Active Directory at direct connections to the proxy server.
• The improved interface of settings: network and integration with AD.
• The increased speed of work of content filtering and the server in general.

2016: Release of Ideco Selecta

On September 2, 2016 the Ideco company announced release of the upgraded version of Ideco Selecta. As a part of software function of integration with AD for authorization of users appeared.

Authorization happens to the help of the program agent which is established on all computers of the domain by means of group the politician.

2015: Ideco Selecta

For May 29, 2015 Ideco Selecta is Internet content filtering system.

The system of the content Internet filtering of Ideco Selecta - the software solution for high-speed traffic filtering in networks with capacity to 10 Gbps. Works in the transparent mode (the network bridge) and allows integration into the operating network infrastructure without reconfiguring of routers and network equipment.

Possibilities of Ideco Selecta

• URL filtering using the cloud Ideco Cloud WebFilter database ‒ is more than 140 categories of the websites, 500 million URL, updating of base in real time.
• Morphological analysis of web pages according to the dictionary with a possibility of purpose of weight for separate words and phrases. A system has the built-in dictionaries for blocking of extremist materials, promotion of drugs, a pornography, etc. of an inappropriate content.
• Blocking of loading of files on expansions and MIME types.
• Filtering of search queries with a possibility of forced inclusion of safe search on the websites of popular search engines.
• Filtering of HTTP and the ciphered HTTPS traffic.
• Filtering of the infected, extending viruses, phishing and potentially dangerous websites according to the cloud database updated in real time.
• Blocking of IP, networks, protocols (including GRE necessary for a filtering bypass using third-party VPN services) using the built-in firewall.

Abilities to integrate into IT infrastructure

• Ideco Selecta works in the bridge mode, without requiring change of routes in the operating network.
• Authorization of users using Kerberos is possible (through the Active Directory): management of access to Internet resources for such users and maintaining web reporting under them.
• Ideco Selecta can work, both at a dedicated server, and on a hypervisor of virtual machines.

A system conforms to requirements, the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation to the systems of content filtering and provides fulfillment of requirements of the Russian legislation on protection of children and protection against extremism, in particular to Federal Law No. 436 "About protection of children from information doing harm to their health and development" of 12/29/10 taking into account Federal Law No. 139 "About introduction of amendments to the federal law "About Protection of Children from Information Doing Harm to Their Health and Development" of 7/28/12.

A system can work with any registers and bases of the prohibited resources, including the perspective register of NSOR (resources educations, incompatible with the purposes) which development is conducted by the Ministry of Education together with Ministry of Communications.
